The 17th season of the Indian Premier League (IPL) is going to start on 22nd March with a match between the defending champions Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) at MA Chidambaram Stadium, Chennai on Friday. 



A total of 10 teams will be giving their best to take IPL 2024 trophy their home.

Injury and withdrawal news:

Mohammad Shami is ruled out of this tournament as he has recently undergone ankle surgery. GT are yet to announce his replacement. 
Robin Minz, a wicketkeeper batsman from Jharkhand, is likely to miss IPL 2024 as he went through a minor bike accident last month in Ranchi.
Matthew Wade will be missing the first 2 games of Gujarat Titans as he is playing the Sheffield Shield final for Tasmania.


KOLKATA KNIGHT RIDERS :

KKR PLAYING 11

Injury and withdrawal news : 

Jason Roy has recently withdrawn from the IPL 2024 due to his personal reasons and KKR has signed Phil Salt as his replacement.


CHENNAI SUPER KINGS :

CSK PLAYING 11

Injury and withdrawal news : 

Devon Conway is almost ruled out of the IPL 2024 as he suffered an injury to his thumb during a T20i match against Australia. 
Matheesha Pathirana, a Sri Lankan fast bowler, suffered a hamstring injury during the T20i series against Bangladesh.
Shivam Dube, a solid power hitter batsman, is yet to clear all his tests before the first match of the IPL and is doubtful to play. 

SUNRISERS HYDERABAD

There is no official news regarding any injury from the Sunrisers Camp. 


MUMBAI INDIANS

MI PLAYING 11

Injury and withdrawal news : 

Suryakumar Yadav is yet to confirm his return to IPL 2024 as he continues to recover after suffering from sports hernia. 
Dilshan Madhushanka, a Sri Lanka pacer, has suffered from a hamstring injury during the tour of Sri Lanka to Bangladesh. 
Gerald Coetzee, a South African pacer, is doubtful to play his first game as he is recovering from an injury. 


ROYAL CHALLENGERS BANGALORE :

Tom Curran suffered an injury and is doubtful to play in this tournament.



DELHI CAPITALS :

DC PLAYING 11

Injury and withdrawal news : 

Lungi Ngidi, who has been retained by the franchise, is ruled out of the tournament as he has an injury regarding an ankle niggle and DC has signed Jake Fraser-Mcgurk, a talented youngster from Australia, for his replacement. 

 

RAJASTHAN ROYALS :

RR PLAYING 11

Injury and withdrawal news : 

Prasidh Krishna has been ruled out from the entire IPL 2024 after undergoing surgery on his left proximal quadriceps tendon last month. No replacement has been signed by RR yet. 


PUNJAB KINGS :

No news has come from the PBKS camp regarding any injuries and replacements of the players.
